To help you cope with your loss and embrace the memory of a special relationship, saying 'Good Bye' can be done in many ways - maybe a place to visit like a special corner in the garden or on the beach, a contribution to an animal society in memory of your pet can be a fitting tribute for some, completing a journal or photo album can be of great comfort.
R.I.Pets is able to provide personally inscribed tomb stones or natural stone rocks. These make a very special tribute which can be placed in your garden.
Rustenburg or Zimbabwe Granite is used for these Plaques with mounting holes or a backrest for easy placement. You can choose some special wording and dates, perhaps a short quote in memory of your beloved pet or paw prints. This is a personalised way to commemorate the life of your dear pet.

These we can supply in your personal choice of
colours and designs. The rocks are safe to be placed
outdoors as they are fully sealed and the art work secured
with cement adhesive/grout. The most common designs are
your pets' name or a simple paw print in their memory.
Carefully selected, these river rock stones are
mechanically engraved with dates or your pet's name.
Perfectly placed on their favourite place in your garden
will leave a lasting memory with a warm rustic feel.
We can only wish you all the strength that you may need during this extremely devastating and sad time. Please be compassionate and gentle with yourself.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

I was chosen today
I'm learning to fly
The world took me away
But please don't you cry.
And I choose you today
To try and be strong
So please don't you cry
And don't say I'm gone.
When you're feeling alone
Just remember our love,
I'm up near the stars
Looking down from above.
Remember our love
In a moment you'll see
That I'm still here beside you
When you're thinking of me.

Never forget how much your pet adored you and that he would never have wanted to see you so unhappy and sad for so long. He would only want you to remember the precious happy times you had together.
Many people get enormous comfort in going through all your photos throughout their pet's life and putting together a special photo tribute. Maybe write a poem or a personal tribute. A memory garden can also bring great satisfaction finally letting go.
Guilt is a normal emotion that you may feel, no matter what the cause of your pet's passing was. We somehow need to make some kind of sense of what has happened, we feel responsible and as a result we may blame ourselves. Please know that with some time these feelings of guilt will most certainly subside as you work through your grieving process. Please just try and stay strong.
Try to cherish and focus on the heartwarming and happy memories with your pet – allow yourself to laugh, even if that comes with a few happy tears, this will be so healing for you and make you feel better.
Because our relationship with our beloved companions are unlike human relationships, the passing of your pet is also like no other loss that you will ever experience.
Losing your loyal friend is emotionally devastating and often many people may not always understand this special bond you had with your pet and recognize just how impactful this loss has been for you.
You need to be compassionate and gentle with yourself and take as much time as you may need to heal to grieve this deep loss, you cannot hurry this process.
Your emotions may come like waves. One minute you feel as if you are strong and coping well, and then for the smallest reason (or no reason at all) the next moment you are completely overwhelmed with extreme sadness. This is normal, you need to face this grief.
Our relationships with our precious pets are among the most powerful in our lives which come from so many reasons, including their unconditional love, unwavering companionship, emotional support and overwhelming happiness they bring, just to name a few.
